Our dental team dedicates themselves to delivering fantastic patient care, and your comfort and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us.
Your Partner in Achieving Excellent Oral Health
We value the relationships we build with our patients and focus on honesty and integrity in all our interactions. Having a dentist who knows you and understands your needs is reassuring.
Achieving a healthy smile is a team effort that involves you and your dentist. You do your part at home with conscientious brushing and flossing, and we’ll provide the tools you need to support your efforts.
Our use of technology like digital x-rays and intraoral cameras helps you get involved in your oral health care because you can see what our dentists see when diagnosing problems like cavities or gum disease. We want you to feel comfortable, confident, and informed about the treatment decisions you make.
General Dentistry for All Your Family’s Needs
There are many aspects to your oral health care, and everyone comes to us with their own unique set of needs and concerns. We offer all the dental services our Midtown Manhattan patients need to achieve their personal oral health goals.
Dr. Krayniy and Dr. Zimmerman appreciate that families in New York City have busy schedules that don't always allow for dental appointments during regular business hours. For your convenience, we are open daily, Monday through Saturday, and offer extended evening hours four nights a week.
If you have a dental emergency, call us right away. We'll do our best to see you the same day, especially if you are in pain.
Preventive Dentistry
The foundation for a healthy smile is prevention, including dental exams and cleanings every six months or as recommended. It is much easier on you and your oral health to take preventive measures than it is to try to correct problems after they’ve had a chance to damage your oral health.
Restorative Treatments
Our teeth are extremely hard and durable, but we don’t always care for them properly. They also withstand a significant amount of daily wear and tear, and all this use can result in conditions like gum disease, decayed or broken teeth, root canal infections, and missing teeth.
To restore your smile back to full health, we offer:
- Tooth-colored fillings
- Gum disease treatment
- Crowns and bridges
- Root canals
- Tooth extraction
We know that root canals and extractions can strike fear in the hearts of our most confident patients, but rest assured, you are in the best possible hands. Our dental team is very gentle and understanding and are here to support you during your procedure. Nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” is also available to help soothe and calm you if needed.
We Look forward to Welcoming You
If you’re looking for a dental practice in Midtown Manhattan that offers friendliness, warmth, and compassion combined with high-quality dentistry, please call us at (212) 245-0055 to schedule an appointment.
Thorough, professional, very patient and gentle
I had the best cleaning with Angela. She is very thorough, professional, very patient and gentle. I felt no sensitivity whatsoever. She explained each and every step. I felt very comfortable and will be seeing her every 3 months to keep my mouth fresh and clean.

Frequently Asked Questions
Periodontal or gum disease is a widespread problem that affects millions of people. It not only poses a serious threat to your oral health if not treated promptly, but it can also impact your overall health and well-being.
Every day, we see new scientific evidence of the connection between periodontal and general health, and Dr. Krayniy and Dr. Zimmerman take the treatment of gum disease very seriously at their New York City dental office.
Some of the most common risk factors for gum disease are:
- Poor oral hygiene – If you don’t do an adequate job brushing and flossing, bacteria-filled plaque has a chance to build up along and under the gum line and cause an infection.
- Smoking – Smokers are one of the highest-risk groups for developing gum disease. Smoking increases your risk of gum disease, and it also slows makes it more difficult to heal after periodontal treatment.
- Diabetes – If you have diabetes, you are at increased risk of developing infections that include periodontal disease.
- Medications - Numerous medications, both over-the-counter and prescription, inhibit healthy saliva production that helps to promote healthier gums. The result is dry mouth, a condition which places you at greater risk for infections like gum disease.
- Genetics – Your genetic makeup has the potential to make you more prone to periodontal disease, and there are current studies to suggest that it is influenced by heredity.
If you’re worried about your risk for developing gum disease, the best things you can do are to brush and floss conscientiously and keep up with your six-month appointments for dental exams and cleanings. During these visits, our Midtown Manhattan dentists will ensure that your gums are healthy and provide treatment if we discover any problems. Please call us at (212) 245-0055 to schedule your next appointment.
Dental crowns are one of the most versatile restorations we use at our Midtown Manhattan dental office. The primary function of a tooth crown is to protect and strengthen a tooth. If your tooth has been compromised by decay or periodontal disease, a dental crown will restore function and protect the tooth from further damage.
Since dental crowns are designed to surround your tooth and protect it like a little helmet, they have many uses:
- Strengthen a broken, cracked, or decayed tooth
- Provide support for a tooth that has a large filling
- Protect a tooth after root canal treatment
- Stabilize a dental bridge
- Restore a dental implant
- Correct certain cosmetic flaws
Having a tooth crown placed at our New York City dental office usually requires two or three visits. First, our dentists need to examine the tooth and take x-rays to ensure that a crown is an appropriate solution. Next, they prepare your tooth to receive the crown and ensure a perfect fit.
We then take a comfortable digital impression of the tooth to create a model of the tooth that a custom dental lab uses to design and fabricate your final crown. Before you leave, we will fit you with a temporary crown to wear until the final crown is ready to be placed securely on your tooth.
Our experienced dental team has extensive experience in placing dental crowns and would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your needs. Please contact our office to arrange an appointment at your convenience.
